Mapnova is a universal GIS mapping platform for institutional real estate, infrastructure, and land-use teams. It unifies live data from county GIS servers across all 92 Indiana counties, the IGIO statewide parcel layer, and federal datasets (FEMA, USDA, BLM, NFHL) into one fast, single-page workspace.

Layer coverage varies by county. Indianapolis (Marion), Bartholomew, and Johnson have the deepest local GIS integrations (74+ layers each). All 92 counties have statewide parcel search via IGIO and owner-name enrichment via county GIS integrations (Schneider Beacon WFS) or the statewide D1 parcels index. Federal layers (FEMA, USDA, BLM) cover the full state.

Queries the FEMA NFHL FIRM zone at the currently selected parcel — or, if no parcel is selected, the map center. Result includes the zone designation (e.g. AE, X, VE), any zone-sub-type, and the Base Flood Elevation when available.

Paste parcel IDs (one per line, or comma-separated). The app queries the D1 parcels index, highlights every match on the map, and fits the view to their combined bounds. Works against any county that's been bootstrapped.

Navigate to a Public Land Survey System (PLSS) Section-Township-Range in Indiana. Queries the BLM CadNSDI national PLSS service — works across all 92 Indiana counties.

Activates any regulated-drain / hydrology layer registered for the currently selected county. Drain-name text search is logged for diagnostics — most county GIS services don't expose a queryable drain index, so the layer-activate is the institutional fallback.

Tip: open the Layers tab and scroll for drain-related layers — they're per-county, named after the surveyor's regulated drain dataset.
